Total rebuild needed. Zion and the rest of the $30 million dollar men need to be traded. No first round pick due to bad trade. Hawks will benefit greatly. The most embarrassing franchise in the league. Sad arse situation.

Honestly one of the worst run and most embarrassing franchises in all of sports, not just the NBA.

All summer this place was warned of the pitfalls of Gayle ownership, but promises of play in team and 47 wins were countered by the sheep.
It’s unsustainable and verbal or physical pressure has to be brought on Gayle to make changes. Crowds are now anemic even for legacy franchises and in spite of Gayle’s upbeat words all of us know good entrepreneurs cannot wait to get this team rebuilt in Seattle.

Griff lost every trade he made as pelicans GM and whiffed on every coaching decision he made
Then Dumars came in and said hold my beer and trading away two likely top 5 overall picks in this draft.

I was one of thr few that was on your side man. Just dont want this team moved to Seattle. But i understand its a miracle for a good owner to buy from Gayle and keep them here. Todd Graves I believe is our only chance but I dont think he wants tje Pelicans

Rumors are that they have a lot of buyers and that they would want to keep it in LA. I don’t get why you only think Todd Graves is our only savior.

I will never understand why our fan base, and many out there honestly, are so simple minded and can’t differentiate the product from the business. This team is making money hands over fist. They have no f’ing clue how to win basketball games. But they have made hundreds of millions over decades in NO.

Is there a person that has enough capital to acquire both teams?
If you broke up the teams and kept them both in Nola, you’d literally have to build the infrastructure from scratch. The practice facilities and business offices are all on one campus. 60-70% of the employees do work for both teams. I don’t think many outsiders truly realize how cheap the Benson Cartel is.
A new owner would also have to personally guarantee a huge commitment to a new arena.

Seattle's not happening.
Just give it time. The city is so desperate had to turn over finances to a state auditor just to sell short term bonds to fund payroll rest of year. It’s a disaster and not a pro sports franchise city.

This is one of the biggest problems.
