He seems hungry; can recruit Florida and has recruited Texas.

You don't hire Golesh in mid-November. You make the whales tell you no first and have him as one of the backup options. Seems pretty obvious, no?

I think Alex Golesh or Eric Morris at North Texas could be really good coaches at LSU. The problem is people would melt, because neither is a perceived "home run" hire. That is an elitist attitude and could cause us to make another Kelly hire. A tired old coach with a great resume. I would rather a young hungry coach, with an incentive-based contract.

The current SEC coach this board is collectively melting over is one year older than Golesh and has twice the head coaching experience
