Get Rid of the DJ!!

First, we don’t GEAUX to games to listen to a CRAPPY DJ. Second, we have the best band in College Football, with the Golden Girls. Third, you don’t start a song while our band is playing, PERIOD! Fourth, and lastly, the selection of music was horrible for most of the game. Piped in music was so loud, you could not even talk to the person next to you. This is BAMA!

This is a change that 100% HAS to happen. Was there yesterday and there were 3 times where the band was literally a minute into a song and the music just randomly starts blaring. 10 seconds later the band stops so you can tell they’re pissed about it.

Makes you wonder who sold both Pro and College teams that piped in music is what the fans want. You can't even talk to the person next to you in the stands because of the crap over the speaker. And why do they even have The Golden Band from Tigerland

Yeah watching the game on TV you go from hearing the band to hearing freaking Adele or some horrible rap song. Just brutal trash when you have a great college band.

There is a way to have a good DJ experience that compliments the band. There needs to be some committee that can evaluate the schools that are doing it well and tweak our process.
The era of stadiums relying on the band only is gone (everyone can have a different opinion on whether thats good or not but no real way to go back). The actual tracklist list needs to be improved though - Random bounce music for the sake of it being Louisiana is just awful.
A well timed hip-hop instrumental can be good for momentum / vibes. But it can't be dance music it should be intimidating like a Mobb Deep instrumental

This is why the DJ is playing. He’s to drown out the STTB. It’s going to continue to happen until the chant stops, which I doubt it will.

I couldn't agree more. I have stopped going to games after decades of 4 seats on the 50. My wife and I just can't stand the ghetto nature of it all .
So, if most agree, what has to happen to make it stop and at least resemble what TS used to be.
And please don't give us the excuse that the players like it. The players are there to play ball. We the fans have to listen through all that crap, and that is being kind to call it crap.

I despise the so-called modern Tiger Stadium experience. It's just a trashy situation. Bad food. Barbarian chants. Hard to park. Expensive concessions. The smell of vaping and Marijuana. The band plays less, and the lower-income music won't allow a conversation with the person sitting beside you.

It’s not surprising that the fan experience sucks. Poor leadership at all levels has led to this place. Campus problems, fan experience sucks, coaches fired and tangled in legal battles, product on the field is putrid, concessions suck, traffic is a horror show. Paying millions of dollars to buy players and stay relevant.
Bad leadership ruins companies, communities and organizations. Louisiana, Baton Rouge and LSU have terrible leaders and nothing will change until that fact is changed.

If they are doing it to stop the STTDB chants then honestly I’m all for it. The people in here complaining about how trashy the piped in music is while being accepting of STTDB chants on a broadcast are hypocrites.
They’ve clearly been given the guidance to shut that shite down and good on them. Want no piped in music, then stop reveling in the most embarrassing chant in all of sports.
