I just moved to TX and am interested in getting an LSU Texas plate...Can anyone tell me how to go about getting one?

I remember reading somewhere that i would have to first get regular TX plate(s)- is this true?

Go to TxDot and under license plates it will be under organizations

and no you don't have to get regular plates first

Hope all you Texas and Georgia residents have fun driving around with Toonces on your tag. No way I'll put anything with that logo on my car. If I want to show my LSU pride outside Louisiana, I'll just put a Tiger Eye or some other LSU decals on my car......

I've got 2 cars

A 2001 truck and 2006 van

All still registered in LA

I thought it costs a lot more to get them registered inTX

I'd love to put lsu plates on both

I don't care if it has Toonces or not. There will be many in Texas that will be completely outraged that I have a Texas plate that says "Geaux Tigers". I am waiting for mine to arrive...
