The Nussmeier rollercoaster

I'm truly a dumbass, as are most of you. I thought Nuss was a huge gaping pussy and called him out when he let Kirklin play QB vs Kansas State bc he had an opportunity to seize the starting job in that game and keep us from pursuing Daniels in the portal. The rant gave me tons of hate bc "muh redshirt" even though he was only 1 or 2 snaps away from a redshirt the following year that he only played due to a helmet coming off vs A&M.
Then came Daniels who looked like a scared puppy compared to Nuss in the Denbrock offense. And I thought damn we need to play that young baw more that snorts salts on the sidelines and slings it all over the field. But we never did. We stuck by Daniels who eventually grew a pair and became one of the greatest QBs in LSU history. And by then BK had fully neutered Nuss, taken the smelling salts, and turned him from Jameis Winston to Jarrett Lee without a running game.
And in all that time I stood by him, wanting to root for the man who stayed loyal and played for his university for 5 years through the transfer portal era. Only to find out he's still the same gaping pussy dropout that he was 5 years ago. A total quitter. And wearing the #18 at that

From the Advocate: "If Nussmeier isn’t 100%, LSU should start Van Buren. Heck, even if Nussmeier is fully healthy, LSU probably should start Van Buren. His mobility and willingness to take off and run gives the Tigers more options against a bad Razorbacks’ defense. That's a major consideration as LSU needs to score plenty of points to keep up with Arkansas' Taylen Green-led offense."

He just never seemed to have the drive or work ethic needed to get to the next level. Then we decide to throw a couple mil at him.
But in his defense he was here at a very chaotic dysfunctional time led by the biggest fraud the sport has ever seen. Attitude reflects leadership, if your HC doesn’t care your starting QB isn’t going to either.

You're wrong here. Nuss had everything to gain this year and in spite of the head coach, could have been so much better, but Nuss chose to rest on his "potential" and not put forth the effort, mentally, that the two previous Heisman QB's did. Nuss's poor play is on him, a 5th year senior.
