(hopefully it wont be that crazy)

we got an airbnb right on the square that is pet friendly so we'll be there for the whole weekend starting friday morning through sunday for all the events.

anyone else going? just need a break from the gatlinbug/beach/gatlinburg/beach see saw and i'm hoping this will be a fun as they make it seem.

i've only been to dahlonega for a couple of bicycle races and the 6-gap century; but that was middle of summer.

Holy shite. I've been there for Oktoberfest (I think) and it was nowhere near that bad.

I'd assume you're thinking of Helen, GA. Close by, but they are where does Oktoberfest.

I went to Dahlonega one year during December when they had their christmas parade. It was awful weather so that probably helped with the crowds, but it wasn't very corwded at all. No idea what the opening ceremony will be like though.
