Sick of seeing the crying by people potentially receiving 50 or 67 percent of SNAP in November.

I went to a grocery store last night when I got off work and bought a full 30 Oz lemon pepper chicken for 8 bucks in the hot deli section.

But Dr. B! People can't buy that on SNAP. It's a hot prepared food item! Then scrape together 8 bucks and buy some rice and or flour tortillas and cheese with SNAP. Pull chicken off bone. There's a handful of meals right there to help get you through a week or two.

The majority of those receiving SNAP funds are morbidly obese.

What I love is they can buy raw shrimp/crab legs to be SNAP eligible and then the grocery store steams them for “free”.

Don't worry.....a steamer will become SNAP eligible under some new plan if their store does not provide this service.

The odd thing around where we live is companies can't get people to work, restaurants, first job employers etc are paying $15.00-$18.00 an hour just to get people to work.

My 18 yr old makes $17.00 an hour, he brings home $1,000 (or so) every two weeks.

Friend of mine used some day laborers from Home Depot a few weeks ago and they wanted $25.00 an hour.

I guess sitting on your SNAP arse is more rewarding

Barring some physical or mental incapacitation I have zero sympathy for any of them - and have overwhelming animosity toward the fat fukcs who have never done anything but sit on their asses and whine about being oppressed in their whole lives.

Put them in a cage with a skinny outlet and have plain staple food on the outside - when they get small enough to get to the food, then they can eat.

When they get a job and earn their own money they get to eat anything they want to purchase with their own money.

Hell....I might come clear some plates off tables and take orders for $17. Some of the contract jobs I do even now are like $25-30/hour to look over research/transcripts

Sounds like they’d benefit from fasting for a bit then.

well if you had gone to sams or cosco that chicken would have cost you $4.98 that's how much you know, they saw you coming brother!

Hahaha!

In all seriousness, I have vision issues due to being a preemie. Easier for me to get in and out of the store on the way home than do Sam's or Costco.

Not gonna lie....I was OK with 7.99. Thought it was a decent deal for a 30 ounce cooked chicken.
