Dude is 27-7 in the last 3 seasons a Mizzou. Coaching, recruiting and hiring are all elite. You can tell the guy wants it and grinds for it. Reminds me of Jay Johnson a bit. I think he'd do great here

I don’t think he’s a bad coach. I just rather him go elsewhere like Florida

This is the man I want to be the next coach. He wants the challenge and he'll fight for it.

This board is amazing. What an absolutely retarded standard.

Lol totally agree. Let's base our hire off one game without a QB against a top 3 team.

I will say...if they somehow pull it off. Watch it for the buzz.

So continue down the BK route? Hire a coach with an inflated resume that can’t win big games?

His teams are decent but not great. His best win this season is an OT win against a crappy auburn team. He isn’t the answer. Mizzou is the perfect place for him.

He's at Mizzou playing an SEC schedule at a school who has historically been near the bottom of the conference. When Clark Lea helps revive Vandy everyone flips out and thinks he should get a top tier job. Drink been doing that for 3 seasons now. Dude does way more with way less. Comparing him to CBK doesn't make any sense at all. They're about as similar as grits and sushi

I mean Mizzou went 3 straight sec champ games when they first got here not that long ago.

Comparing what Drink has done at Mizzou to what Lea has done to Vandy is comparing grits to sushi. And Lea has at least beat a top team and his teams take care of business against inferior opponents. Drinks teams play to the level of their completion regardless who it is. Yeah he’s in the sec but his schedule is weak and his team is barely winning with the soft arse schedule he has now. He hasn’t won anything of meaning at Mizzou. All he’s done is beat a bunch of weaker programs.

Why should LSU take a coach from a lesser program whose barely winning where he currently is? You wanna settle for 8-4/9-3 seasons then yeah hire Drink
