Looks like the Eastern Brown Snake (also called the Common Brown Snake).

Not really rare, but second-highest venom potency on earth, falling behind only the (also Australian) Inland Taipan. But still not something you want to run into, though it happens pretty frequently. They're rodent eaters and rodents love human habitats, so that puts the Brown in pretty frequent contact with people.

Gotta watch yo arse in Australia. They've got the world's most dangerous crocodiles, seven of the ten most venomous snakes, and the world's most deadly spider too. The whole damn continent wants you dead.

The time Rudy had the hair dye running down his face was possibly the funniest thing I’ve seen in my life. I was watching on my computer at work and I was in tears laughing. Poor Rudy. Shame how it all went down
