Didn't see it posted - thought I'd share.

LINK

Not claiming to be an expert or some sort of gourmet here, but I always enjoyed a bowl from there when I'd go.

I was fan - the protein ingredients were always good. It was one of our go-to spots for weekend takeout, but the place was always dead in the evenings. I was hoping they were doing enough business during lunch to compensate but apparently not.

Will have to find another spot for poke, any recommendations?

Always enjoyed it for lunch, but the last couple times we were there we were there were few diners.

There arent many poke options in BR, Finbomb would be the closest any maybe only other option in EBR. I used to frequent Poke World in prairieville. It's just a typical asian retail store, but the poke is good.

Was originally part of the City Pork group but split off from that several years ago. Not sure who the current owners are.

I hang out next door a few days a week, and I never see anyone in the place. It was pretty hyped when it was new, but I guess not a lot of people are interested long term.

For us, we’d rather have sushi.

It was always interesting to me.

Food was good, fresh, made to order.

Nobody ever there when I went - it didn’t matter what time of day. I prefer sushi as well but this is “fast sushi” (sort of).

I sort of wonder if a location closer to campus would have done better - it’s kind of in no man’s land for lunch crowd and not really a dinner concept.

I enjoy sushi more too, but rarely eat it for lunch. A Poke bowl was good for lunch. I especially liked the Wasabi bowl, but I would sub salmon for the shrimp.

Hell yeah I love that check cashing place

We would get Southfin once a month or so but the portions had declined and the prices had jumped a year or so ago
