Intended to read the book by Candice Millard that this was based on but didn't get to it, guess I'll read it after instead.

It’s a really solid book. I didn’t know anything about this ordeal. And then it leads to Chester Arthur being president who did not want it at all
Garfield was tortured ( not on purpose ) by the doctors as they tried to find the bullet using a very early beta model of an x-ray. They’re just probing all around in his body to find the bullet. I can’t imagine how painful that was
