Whether it panned out as such is arguable. But I've never been to a game like this one where you could cut the tension with a knife on every play........,,, 2011 "Game of the Century"

The high mark of the Brian Kelly game. The last two minutes of regulation and OT was some of the most exciting football I've ever seen.

The 1988 game was actually LSU's first win in Tuscaloosa since 1902. The two played sporadically until 1964 and most of Alabama's big "home games" were in Birmingham until the late 1980s..Alabama should have ran LSU out of the stadium in the first half but kept kicking field goals.
