Leaving to go to Miami on Wednesday...Flight leaves around 10 on American. How bad is the airport security lines right now? How early should you arrive right now?

I've seen a lot of mixed things.
There have been people posting on here saying no problem. On Social Media I am seeing people posting very long lines by MSY standards.
I always do 2 hours before boarding time, even though that is not necessary at MSY typically.
Just do that and you should be more than fine
If you have Precheck/Clear, you need less time

If only there was such a website for nearly every airport that told you what the wait times are.

Was short lines on Monday around 2:00.

They're not average wait times at most airports. IAH was showing over two hours earlier this week.

Flew out of MSY today at 2PM and made it through security in under 5 mins. But I have TSA Pre and Clear
Regular TSA line looked to be about 15 mins
Gen pop didn’t look too bad either
