A poem to pass the time until the next tidbit of info drops

I refresh the Rant each morning,
With my coffee in my hand,
Hoping PhillyTiger’s posted
With the scoop across the land.

The insiders talk in riddles,
Rumors fly from East to West,
But when Philly drops a tidbit—
Man, it hits above the rest.

I’m craving cryptic updates,
Name-drop hints and secret leads,
A “my source says…” breadcrumb trail
To feed my Tiger needs.

The coaching search is swirling,
And my patience’s running thin,
I need Philly’s insight badly—
Let the message boards begin!

So I’ll hit refresh again,
Scroll with ever-growing fear…
“Has he posted?!” “No… not yet.”
Maybe soon—he’ll reappear.

Because hope is what we cling to
When the hire’s still unknown,
Come on Philly, feed the faithful—
Don’t leave us starved and all alone!
