Does any one know of a butcher shop in the BR area that sells veal bones? I tried Iverstine's but they only have beef bones. Beef bones will work, but veal bones have more collagen.

I'd check with Rouse's. I've seen veal at some publix locations in florida

You may want to check with some of the international markets.

You may get lucky but I've had very little luck getting bones from a supermarket since there are no old time butchers breaking down whole sides of beef like they once did.

The last time I got some beef bones was from Tag's Meat Market in Chalmette across the street from Chalmette High School and they were selling them for $1 a lb. when they were always free for the asking when I was a kid.

Best places I’ve found in the NOLA area have been Vietnamese shops n the east. No veal bones but beef bones at reasonable prices. Not sure about BR. Maybe try to get with a local restaurant??
