Went Friday night, and it's one of the better places I've found to eat in the area (which isn't saying a whole lot)

Got a Roast Beef poboy. The beef/gravy was awesome, and really tasty. The bread would ruffle the poboy bread snobs feathers on this site. It was good bread, just "soft". I also got a cup of shrimp corn soup that was pretty good.

Of the places I've been in Denham, its one of the better ones and I'll definitely go back. There was several things on their menu that looked pretty tasty.

I may have brought it up on here at some point. I make it a point to go by there whenever I call on my people in Denham. The roast beef is damn good, even for a "bread snob" like me. Their other dishes our pretty good too. I've had the burgers, house salad, shrimp remoulade, seafood dip, magnolia mound, shrimp new iberia, seafood au gratin, eggplant josephine and the crab angela and all were way above average dishes. Never had any of their desserts though. I try to pimp this place whenever I can. It's a great hidden treasure in Denham run by some damn fine people. Places like that need to stay open.

We got an order of the blackberry cobbler...It was good, but not great.

I had the same opinion after going only once. I've told friends about it. I'm just not sure of the hours. I tried to go Sunday for lunch but they were closed. I'm not sure if that's always the case or not...

I have been a fan since they were in the old flea market....The Owners are great people...I fished with her in Grand Isle a long while back at some wholesalers trip...They take a lot of pride in what they serve.

It seemed like a small town family run type of place. I'm already looking forward to my next visit there.
