Saturday night 8:00 PM concert.

Great footage! Whoever did this, did an amazing job. 44-years-ago!

Great concert. Great band! All their hits.

I could have seen this for free. I camped out for tickets and the company would pay you pay with tickets, cash, or tickets and cash. I took all cash like an idiot.

Saw them the following year at the Texxas Jam with Point Blank, Santana, Sammy Hagar, and Joan Jett.

Steve Perry has such an amazing voice

It’s like he isn’t even trying . He sounds just as good as the cd recording

Awesome. Saw them in 1987 in the old Phoenix Veterans Coliseum. Just read that was Steve Perry’s final tour. Great memory.

I saw them in St Petersburg, Florida in 1979. Fantastic concert. Thin Lizzy opened for them.

It’s ironic that the guy taking the stage at The Summit now is Joel Osteen.

Thanks! I've seen clips from this but not the whole thing. Will blast it this weekend.

Neal Schon just did a long interview with Rick Beato that is a great watch/listen. It has a lot of guitar tech stuff that is over my head, but listening to him talk about the song writing and recording process is pretty cool.

Rick's interviews avoid all the band drama and People Magazine type stuff and focus on the music, which is refreshing. (He didn't ask David Gilmore one question about Roger Waters.)

When Neal does mention Steve Perry, it is with a smile on his face and with expressions of admiration at his writing and singing talent.

Watched the video last night. Good stuff.

They just announced new tour dates. I’ve passed on them with the new singer, but now I kind of want to go just to see/hear Neal Schon play guitar. Will probably buy tix for the Bossier show.

Saw them in ‘80 with The Babys. Wasn’t the biggest Journey fan but that was an awesome concert. Will probably go to see Schon, who’s one of my favorite guitarist.
