Unlike Sumrall, Eric Morris from North Texas is dominating his job interview…

Isn’t their QB a true freshman? That offense is very impressive.

Morris and Mestemaker would be a nice add IMO

Verge may do it, but no good decision maker is being influenced by one game. Fans are so stupid. Y'all do the same shite based off of press conferences.

UNT has a top 5 scoring, total and passing offense. Rushing offense is solid too. All with a TF QB I believe.

It wouldn’t be a terrible hire if he gets the right DC.

ETA: I’ve watched a handful of their games. The offense is very good.

I like Morris. Has a long history in the air raid, and has modified it a bit with some QB run concepts and balanced run game.

Focusing on 1 game or 1 press conference is just silly. Guy has a resume' that will land him a better job soon.

Eta and very clearly & most importantly has an eye for QB talent & understands what fits his system

I'm pretty sure hes a redshirt freshman.... he played last year. I believe he was a punter last year and they ran out of QBs. So they had to play him and he has been tearing it up ever since

ETA - I looked it up, he played safety/punter in High School and walked on at UNT as a QB (he was 5th string). Worked his way up to backup and the starter ended up hitting the transfer portal last December, so he ended up starting the bowl game.
