Les Miles being saved by Jindal
and now Landry with BK and Woodward.
Why are we surprised?
If Landry gets involved with hiring our next coach, god help us all. I think we’re looking at a young up and coming coach bc no established coach is coming here.

If you look at actions and not words, there is NOTHING to indicate that he won’t be VERY involved in determining the next coach.

You’re wrong…his words reflect this sentiment as well….”I would let Donald Trump choose the next coach before I would let Scott Woodward”….thats a lot of “I” to not be involved in the selection

I’m republican. I didn’t vote for Landry. And think he sucks and is a loose cannon.

First of all you are an idiot.
LA has not bedn controlled by the GOP until recently. Thd majority of its existance it has been Democrat controlled and many of thd older Republicans in the legislature are former Dems.
Every state college in every state is political. Especially the flagship. So this goes on at all State Universities, its just public because it is the SEC and football.
Just look at TX, there was a ton of in fighting when Ann Richards a Baylkr grad wanted to make sure Baylor was part of the Big 12. She was a democrat.
Look at Alabama fighting over financing sports at UAB. Bryant Jr and all his political manuvers.
It is just being pushed because of the SEC and ESPN needing content. This will blow over with a new hire.
If anything you can't look at JBE and his cronies on the BOS and the contracts to J Bernhard, Collis Temple, the no football without new taxes and the race stuff, and not say we have just moved from a very political time at LSU. This is relative.
