Wait, are people thinking he's going to announce he's going to take the LSU job on GameDay?
Not gonna lie, with all of McAfee's bravado it would be hilarious to see Saban just 1UP him in the middle of one of McAfee's dudebro moments and say he's taking the job. And then put on a Mike mascot head and walk off the set.

He should formally interview next week just to increase ratings for game day, For the next month it’d be the discussion of every radio/tv show. Suicide hot line in Bama would heat up, Gov Landry would be peacocking like Huey and backtracking all statements about state backing buyout clauses. With just an interview Saban could totally flip the College football world upside down.

If you're expecting Saban to LSU to happen, much less be successful, you're crazy. The game had passed him by when he retired and he's made no qualms about hating the current system. Paying him a crazy salary for a few years isn't going to magically fix that.

What’s even saying is that now? He can’t out recruit other people for high school players and develop them. The game has changed you gotta buy
So until the university shows that they’re willing to actually help him do that
He’s not interested
I can tell you that the competitor and him still burns
If he wants to coach, he’s going to coach at a place where he can win and the only way you can win is to have money to buy players
So if he gets an understanding from an administration that that is in place
You just never know what he might do
