Some people give money and think that comes with influence. So set guidelines for the Board and everyone else that you are going to do things your way and not listening to their bullshite. Or hire someone else.

Agree with this. Have your input to get the coach you want. Once he's hired, stay out of his way. You hired the man to do the job, let him do it!

Nick is advising the new coach to demand autonomy when they take the job.
Just like he did here at LSU and Bama, "I'm not listening to all that bull shite". That is, the BS from big donors and politicos on who to play, who to recruit, where to spend NIL, etc. It's my way and GTFO or I'm out.

Now that he's had a chance the let the NIL dust start to settle, this might be our chance to pull coach back to the field. It's Nick, Lane, Sheppard, Eli, or Vandy's coach for me.
