Any chance Minter could be a target when this search formally begins?
Son of a coach, coached under Harbaugh and clearly a great defensive mind. Also has good college level experience.
Imagine he’s also in line for NFL HC gigs and further along that path than a Kelvin Sheppard.

Completely forgot that he also received a show clause. I assume that holds regardless given its somewhat recent so may be a major hurdle if they did go this route.

Unfortunately (he is who I would want if went the NFL route and not big name coach route) it seems that he cannot be hired into an athletics position by a NCAA member school until sometime in April 2026.
He would be an outstanding hire imo. From Arkansas, coached in the SEC, won a national title as DC, had the Chargers no.1 in scoring defense last year, etc.
