So he signed a bad BK contract but in theory raised the funds to terminate it. Why should I care rich people gave money for BK to kick rocks?

Because Kelly decided he would retire on the job without earning any of that money.

any of that money.
Which we wouldn't have if Scott Woodward didn't raise to overspend on Kelly
In theory I guess

The people who give "frick you" money for this kind of stuff do not like seeing their money wasted.

They just spent millions on football and not the needy - not going to pretend I understand their motives

One of those two things is important to the people and the states economy

We shouldn’t care.
The people who do spend the money care may care though.
Its an easy national political clickbait for Jeff Landry to bring up about large overpaid coaches contracts during this transition so he can get retweeted by Catturd

Because at some point the well is going to dry up.

It wasn't ever the money, that's the Money Peoples problem, it was the fact that so many people signed off on the contract approval. Too many people were duped

Well, Nick Saban thought about it and he agrees. Agrees to the point that he retired because of it
quote:
"You know, I'm not [surprised] because everybody's raising money to pay players," Saban said. "So, the people that are giving the money think they have a voice and they're just like a bunch of fans. When they get frustrated and disappointed, they put pressure on the [athletic directors] to take action, and it's the way of the world."

It seems Kelly was ready to ride into the sunset and dummy Woodward paid him $100m for 10yrs, it doesn’t take a genius to figure out where this went wrong. Would you give money to a guy who spends without doing a lick of due diligence?
He nearly fricked up in baseball too by trying to hire Kevin O’Sullivan…..good coach, but severe baggage.
