How is Kiffin as a high school recruiter?

That’s about the only question I have about him. From my understanding, he’s not a big recruiter at the high school level. I know he’s at Ole Miss and it’s much more difficult there to recruit, but I can’t remember him ever being known as a killer on the HS recruiting circuit. I know with Saban, that was probably number 1a with him when he was hiring a subordinate is that they had to be a relentless recruiter so I’m sure he’s probably fine. I just don’t hear much about him being a great recruiter.

Which, if he came here, would be much much more important than at Ole Miss. He’s going to have to be a dawg on the recruiting trail at the high school level. We don’t take losing out to aTm or Texas or Alabama very well for recruits. We’re much more invested as a university in that than the portal.
