The "He loves LSU" argument

I could give a rat's arse about whether the next coach loves LSU or not.
It's a business transaction. LSU is hiring you to do a job. Not everybody loves where they work. Doesn't mean that they're not awesome at their job.
To quote Philip Seymour Hoffman from Patch Adams...
"But you ask anyone on their death bed whether they want a prick as their doctor, or some kindergarten teacher that is going to kiss their arse...because when that day comes...I want the prick. And so will you."
