Is only $3 million dollars. Not saying he’s coming here and Ole Miss definitely throws the Bank at him, but if you’re getting into a bidding war, that’s definitely the buyout you’re doing it with. All things considered with some of the other top Coaches we’ve been talking about, it definitely helps his odds IMO.

If they were willing to pony up 50 plus million just to buyout Kelly. They have another 50ish or more ready to go to get who they want and a roster and staff.

Otherwise you save the money and plan for Kelly’s exit next year. You don’t pull the trigger now if funding is in question.

Brian Kelly's buyout if he left was $3 mil. Kirby Smarts to leave UGA is $4mil. That's all around the average (large buyouts for coaches to leave is a relatively new development )
