Solid turnout, no disruptions, Landry being a blow-hard as usual, wants to put a Charlie Kirk statue on campus

It’s dumb. Charlie has no connection to LSU. It’s an empty gesture.

First, Charlie held events at LSU before his murder so that’s factually wrong.
Second, Charlie was a champion of free speech and debate which should be protected on college campuses. Sadly, the left decided to murder Charlie on a college campuses because his speech was a threat to their power base.
I think this is a magnificent idea and the Legislature should act on it next March.

Was there tonight.
Landry was fine, people giving him crap probably don't really listen to everything he has to say. Not perfect, but much better than Jobs Be Elsewhere.
Also, the Kirk statue proposal was done on social media, don't remember him saying that at the evening event.
Rest of the event was solid. Good philosophical discussion with college age students, pointed and direct.
Good event.
