There’s really no big name that we’ve thrown around like in years past during a search. Maybe the best option is a young up and coming coordinator? I’d love Kiffin for the entertainment and good offense, but he’s notoriously underachieved

Underachieved? He’s at Ole Miss the only banner they have is a fricking fake 2003 Sec West division champs sign.

He’s won nothing. Anywhere. I wouldn’t mind Lane at this point but Try to be at least a little objective and maybe get his meat out of your mouth

This idea from some fans that you have to hire coaches who have won championships elsewhere delusional and devoid from reality. If they’re winning things then they don’t leave.

What had Saban won when we hired him? Dabo when Clemson hired him, Kirby when Georgia hired him, Ryan Day etc?

Bama and Ohio State being able to get Saban and Urban under very unique circumstances have given some people an incredibly warped sense of who you’re able to hire as a new coach. 99% of the time you have to try to anticipate who will be able to win something once they are your coach, not hire an already championship level coach.

Please tell me what he has won at any of his many coaching gigs??? 8-4, 9-3 is about his average. No chanpionships…
