It's not crazy to say that he's a top 5 coach in the CFB right now. His teams have done nothing but absurdly overperform since he's been there. Player's like him. Good age, culture fit, hungry. He'd be worth a lower contract and for a shorter time period imo.

Absolutely. Just like people are bringing up Alex Golesh at USF or Rhett Lashley at SMU

23-4 at Troy, 2 sunbelt titles
Currently 15-6 at Tulane, 6-1 this year and likely will win out the schedule to be 12-1, ranked in top 25, and possibly group of 5 rep in the playoffs.
Yeah, we'd be talking about him.
ETA: Also, it's not just us locals talking about him. He's mentioned in every list right now from the national media for top candidates.
His DC, Gasparata, is also legit, and his OC isn't bad either. Not a bad group to bring over.
Watching his interview, he seems like the guy to toughen up our boys and light a fire under them.
