So… who for UF and Penn State?

Thoughts? I’ve got a weird hunch that Penn state wants Golesh badly. Or maybe they steal someone like Heupel or Elko.

Why would Penn State want Heupel?
Heupel's not a bad coach at all, but he's like James Franklin for the Vols. Good enough to get about 9-10 wins, and sometimes into the playoffs, but never good enough to beat the elite teams.

Penn St will be targeting a different group than FL and LSU. Seems like LSU/FL will be after Kiffin and Drinkwitz while PSU is going to try to get Joe Brady, Brian Hartline or Matt Rhule.
There's talk they are looking at Deboer and Elko but those guys will be deep into the playoffs and PSU doesnt want to wait that long.

Penn State will hire Rhule
Florida will hire Kiffin
The “excuse” Penn st will use for Rhule… he’s a good coach and wins just hasn’t had the resources or program to get over the hump (same excuse we at LSU used for Kelly)

Most PSU fans would revolt at this. There are some influential Penn Staters that want him but most of them can see how hiring someone because theyre "one of us" is usually a disaster.
