If so we will dominate people. There are no other basketball schools in our division, which means we could coast to the tourney every year.

Hell, if he just keeps winning, some of the recruiting may take care of itself

Trent Johnson will be able to recruit the state if our coach haters leave him alone and STFU--

If he can recruit Baton Rouge like Brady, he has a good chance to be dominant right? Get a kid or two from texas, and a few other locals around the south, we will be fine.

Correction, there are no basketball schools in our division. We are a football school first, baseball second, track third, and then basketball comes into play.

Looking at Rivals top 150, only one player is from Louisiana. But a large percentage are from the west coast. That probably played into the decision to hire Johnson. He's already signed Aaron Dotson, a 4 star guard from Washington.

Assuming the immature college geeks don't influence the blue chip recruits that visit tigerdroppings, he can do wonders.

So says the simpleton that still thinks John Brady should be on LSU's bench.

Mississippi State under Richard Williams and now Rick Stansbury's leadership, is a basketball, and of course..baseball school.

Track school, football school, bb school. It doesn't matter what kind of school you would classify LSU as. It is not like you have to pick one over the other. Whether we are classified as a football school or not will have no bearing on it the original post is correct or not.

I agree. We have always been able to get some great talent as LSU even when we have never really had (at least in my lifetime) a really good coach. At first I thought Brady was but he soon proved me wrong. TJ has proven he can coach and once he has success and solid recruiting years behind him LSU should dominate just as was mentioned. It could easily revert back to LSU in the West and Kentucky in the East or something similar.

Looking forward to LSU dominating in basketball like we have been doing in football and baseball.

Arkansas had a nice run but to call them a "basketball school" is stretching it. It's MUCH easier to win and recruit at LSU than Arkansas.
