If LSU and Tulane played today I would probably put my money on Tulane

Probably not, but this same post has been made at some point on this board at least once in each of the past 4 years

They got boatraced by Ole Miss.
But after last night I don't have faith in BK to beat them.

Good chance LSU's pure talent would overwhelm Tulane; however, I'm starting to believe both Sumrall and Fritz are better head coaches than Kelly. Wonder what Kelly would do as head coach of a program where he couldn't just go out and buy whatever talent across the country he wanted.

13 seasons at Grand Valley State: 0 losing seasons (1 season 5-5 record)….2 division 2 championships and 1 runner up.
3 seasons at Central Michigan: 1 losing season in first year.
3 Seasons (if you want to say ‘4’ he did coach the bowl game in 2006 when he took the job) at Cincinnati going 34-6.
I don’t care for Kelly but he wasn’t buying players at these schools. He like Franklin has a good record because they were at good schools in weak conferences.
