Lugenbill On LSU's Ranking

Lugenbill was on Finescum's show the other day and Finescum asked him why LSU was ranked #1 and not Bama. Lugenbill said ESPN is one of the only recruiting services that takes into account if players are going to make into school. He said Bama had several signees that won't make it.
Lugenbill said Paul you remember last year we didn't have Bama #1 for the same reason because some kids were not going to get in.
He said, "We turned out to be right didn't we Paul?" Paul said, "Yes you were."..........you could hear the pain in Paul's voice when he had to say that over the airways to all the Gumps.
"Well," Lugenbill said "We're right again this year too."

it kills finebaum when LSU does anything positive...he thinks the program is in a catastrophic nosedive.

According to their own people they have 77 guys coming back. That means 8 schollies to give out.......So Tricky Nick gives out 27...wonder if the NCAA is taking notes on this one.

It takes some balls not to recruit Sentimore and Lacy.
Between Miles and Saban, we know who wins in that department.

on Thursday, Finebaum said LSU did great in recruting despite having a idiot for a head coach. It's killing Finebaum to have to equate Saban and Miles so he always has to call Miles a less than flatering name. Miles success makes Finebaum look bad because he has called Miles a idiot from day one.

Just think in a couple of years when Les Miles emerges from the Saban shadow cloud (you did it with his players crap) we should be able to get even better talent. And his rep as an honest man while Fla., Tenn, and Alabama tarnish theres should help even more.
Right now things look great but their looking up! Should be dominateing in a few years.

Hold your horses OIT. I Dvr pretty much everything college football related on espnu. Over the last few years (when lugenbill started getting airtime with espn) I have seen him on a bunch of diferent shows, and I must say over this past year when he started moving up the espn ranks (Now espn recruiting coordinator) he has changed majorly. He has changed of course because alot of the stuff he used to say was garbage. He has now toned down his, I guess personality? I have heard him seriously dog on LSU before. I have seen him dog on UT or etc. before. He just does it in a very douche way. Not the type of way face-men on ESPN get. I guess he took a hint from Trev Alberts and the boys...
