What's also weird to me about the show is that they lean pretty heavy into Cold War stuff. I get that was the glory days of espionage and all but it was also a long time ago. They had a plot line where some Soviet sleeper agent had just been chilling out in the charming countryside of the Cotswolds for forty years waiting to be activated. I mean come on.
