He should have his people mine every DEM SOTU (and response) since Kennedy and his whole speech should be comprised of their previous statements.

I like the idea, but I think he should make the statement. Let the cameras show Dems sitting and not applauding.
Then state that idea was “X’s” position back in “19XX”, and Dems applauded then. Do it over and over again
In other words, expose their hypocrisy and TDS in real time.
That way it has to be covered.

Great idea, but MSNBC and CNN would not cover it They don't want the truth revealed.

It would be unavoidable.
Also, the idea of giving the citation/attribution during the speech after the Dems sat on their hands would be interesting.
He could throw out a few and burn them every time. Then, once they started standing and clapping presuming its from a previous Dem, he could throw in one of his own and just smile when they applaud that statement as well.
