Huge team implications on the line.

We have an aging Kamara that also is nursing an injury.

Kendre Miller once again showed flashes and down for year with another injury. Has 1 more year left on rookie contract.

Devin Neal with not a whole lot else on the team that could be considered a building block in the running back room for our roster.

Devin has the opportunity to go as far as win a feature back type role on our team for the foreseeable future. Its a gaping hole on the roster if we are assuming Kamara will be best as some sort of featured split back type role.

Its not the same situation as when we had ingram and peterson and kamara was unnoticed rookie but there could be similar traits that Neal has an opportunity to surprise and quickly establish himself.

I was hopeful that we would have a shot at drafting him going into the draft, after watching him several times the last college season. I am excited to see how he does with his integration into the offense.

He rarely went down on first contact, and seemed to always fall forward in the games that I watched last year.

Guy is a 5-10 yard machine. Not going to outrun anyone but great vision. Hope he gets some reps.

Good post - wish McCoy was blocking for him.

Don't you worry. Luke Fortner and Cesar Ruiz are sucking the DTs in after getting pushed off the ball which is somehow leaving a gap for Neal to get around.
