Ok you're wrong. There , I said it. The man is retired and was looking rundown when he did retire. It is also a different era of footballl now. All these things come into play. The latter is the biggest reason he retired imo.

He retired because he was not going to deal with NIL any longer… he had enough of it when players started coming into his office and telling him how much they wanted to stay.

LSU leadership would be foolish not to offer Saban. I would expect him to say no thanks. But what if another school made a great offer and he said yes. Wouldn't we be damn fools? All the GOAT could say is no.
