Dallas/Fort Worth Thanksgiving.

Staying in Grapevine.
Need ideas for Wednesday before Thanksgiving. Wife. 10 yr boy. 6 yr girl and me.
Thinking Fort Worth Stockyards in morning. JFK tour in the afternoon.
Any ideas of what else to do? Open to anything. Don't love my itinerary. Not married to stockyards or JFK.

I've never done the JFK tour, but knowing that area, I'd imagine your kids will be pretty underwhelmed going from the stockyards to Dealey Plaza... maybe flip the order?

ICE! at the Gaylord Texan, especially at those ages. They provide you with loaner puffer jackets, and the kids love it. I didn't do LegoLand, and the aquarium was ... fine. Both are about two miles from the Gaylord.

If you need to kill a few hours, you can take them to walk around/shop Southlake Town Square.

Grapevine:
Meow Wolf at Grapevine Mills (kids will love it)
Grapevine Mills Mall (lots of stores and things to keep the kids occupied)
Gaylord Texan for the Christmas extravaganza (starts Nov 14)
Great Wolf Lodge (long day for you, but the kids will love you for it)
Downtown:
Perot Museum of Nature and Science (one of my favorite museums)
Pioneer Plaza (close to the JFK stuff, lots of neat statues for a couple blocks)
Dallas Arboretum at White Rock Lake (also several playgrounds nearby)
