Have a 3 acre pond on my property in Alabama that is getting progressively overrun with lily pads. What's the best/easiest way to knock them back? Does Reward work on lily pads?

I was going to post that. We had a similar issue and a few of these guys rolled in and cleared it out quickly. Then they moved on. It was great and saved me the trouble.

2-4D will work great and is cheaper than the other stuff. I use that with a surfactant and it kills them, i use it on mine

Thanks. I'll give it a shot with a backpack sprayer in my pond hopper boat.

Are you using the "aquatic" 2-4D made for ponds or just the regular stuff?

regular 2-4D. The aquatic stuff is a rip off and way more expensive. You only need to spray the plants a little but, no need to dose the area and water
