If DJ Chester is the best option at LT tells a lot about talent assessment by this staff.

If he is truly your best option, you haven't done your job as coaches to have other players ready. Pissing money down the drain. Fire Scott Woodward first.

DJ Chester is 3rd or 4th team LG. So, wtf are you talking about?

We didn't have a starter ready much less a replacement.

I don’t understand why Bordelon hasn’t panned out.

Our starting LT this year should have been Lance Heard btw

He would’ve sucked too with our coaching. Coaching is the problem.

Look at our RT. He's graded out as one of the worst OTs in the country. And the response from coaches is "we're going to live with it and let him develop", .WTF?? Developing would be getting better from week to week. You had to bench him against SLU. His pass blocking grade for Vandy was in the 20s. I don't blame the kid I blame the coaches. Talent assessment, development, scheme, look at whatever aspect you want to, but our Oline is awful.

I wondered this in the offseason. They never seemed to have a plan for the third offensive tackle option

You're confusing what is actually the best option and what the staff thinks is the best option.

You have Curne who they didn't take out of the Ole Miss game because they thought he played well. But now he's behind Chester who we've seen a lot of.

You have Thompson played a full year at his former school as a RT. He could move the LT and put Curne or Echols at RG. But they don't want to do that for whatever reason.

Cbk has been here 4 years and we dont have a 2nd string left tackle. He is playing a guy who got pushed on his back and is playing out of position. If that is your best option Brian kelly has to go.

One of my coworkers is close friends with Chester’s family. Says they are a good folk. I pull for him

Or Emery Jones, who told the coaches he was considering coming back for his senior year to play LT and improve his draft stock.

Rag on BK all you want, but not having a stud backup to replace someone who got injured is dumb in today’s CFB landscape.

Unless the gripe is about Brad Davis not developing capable backups, then fair game.

Expecting this every play from Chester would be ignorant.

That was 1 of only 3 bad plays (still too many) by him in pass pro.

The whole reason for the post. CBK needs to go and send Woodward out the door with him.

We had a 5* LA kid behind Will. He wanted starter money to be the backup so they let him go. Its part of the game now.
