Bless the hearts of the unfortunate souls that have to live on these mini hells on earth.

Hey, if it wasn't for small depressing towns, the Marine Corps would have 50% fewer recruits.

Depends on what's happening in the small town.

I grew up and currently live in a very, very big city.

I have often entertained the idea of moving to a smaller town like Hot Springs for example, which is a small town comparitively.

I don't know that I ever will move to a smaller town because I like to live close to my family.

ETA: I think my definition of a small town is a bit skewed...

If they're not near a body of water or mountains then I agree.

And yet most of the people in the cities choose to vacation in and dream of living in the small towns when they retire

Not all. I have family in Victor, Idaho. Great little town with lots of outdoor stuff to do.

Now that starlink is active all over the upper plains I have every intention on buying a few acres up there and living out my days. Yall can have the city and suburbs.

I don’t know that this is necessarily true.

Small towns are wonderful for certain seasons of life. I don't understand your disdain for small towns.

Tiger Husker, I've got good friends in Omaha. How far are you from Omaha?
