Being 28 years old I can’t think of any year that comes close to being a bigger bummer than this. Only 2016 with that roster comes close.

2020 was pretty disappointing considering the championship season in 19

1998
we had terrible luck
close losses to UGA and Uk at home
fluke loss to bama at home
BS loss at Notre dame.
we coulda won all 4 of those.
we scored 30 a game that year our D just sucked.
then it fell apart in 1999. multiple injuries on o line. they still fought tho.

I really thought we were winning it all midway through 2015.

Man, these are good times to be an LSU fan. When I was at lsu we had little hope of winning. One season attendance was so low, they sold tickets for $5 to try to get people to come to the games. This too will pass…

Oh I know, it was a highly entertaining and frustrating season. Great offense wasted by Lou Tepper. But if I recall, we were ranked about #6 at one point after beating Auburn.

Oh dear.
I was a freshman in 1993.
That season made me walk on the team, literally after math class in Lockett.
You have no idea how bad we use to be at football.
Keep your chin up and come to the game next Saturday and we'll beat the Aggies.

I’d rather be 6-6 Ed trash than this. At least he was entertaining

I'm jepust going to tell you now, things are going to get much worse

Wasn’t born yet but often hear my parents and their friends talk about the ‘89 season being incredibly disappointing. Had Hodson back for his senior year, lot of returners and good incoming recruiting class just couldn’t figure it out. Archer’s inadequacies starting showing bigly.

Curly’s 2-9 season for me. It was awful and humiliating
