The 99 and the 2000 taking over again.
Finally these two are going head to head in Las Vegas when Swizz Beats and Timbaland return with Verzuz again.
Turk is out, Cmurder and Mystikal in jail. Snoop is unknown. I'm interesred to see the format. It'll be streamed on X.
I'm hoping to hear this banger..
I also think it sucks they doing this in Vegas, but safer that way.

I’m not even sure what you’re trying to ask.

No doubt CMR has better staying power. But Masyer P put out like 30 records in 1998 alone.
They have a catalog.

You do. Your just playing up being a boomer.
I know you're not so old that you haven't heard of no limit or cash money.

I like that one. Can't sing along in public though.

I swear on my wedding vows, my children, and my model stash that I have not the slightest clue who or what no limit or cash money are.
ETA: I do know who Snoop Dog is.

It was two different styles. Both of them went pretty hard.

I had no idea that they were still around.

I was close off top of my head. Senior year of high school i remember every month getting a No limit album but many were not good.
While cash money has a better record. BG, Juvenile and Hotboys had a good run well before Wayne.

Both went hard but I always rolled with Cash Money. After Beats By The Pound left No Limit, there whole sound change.

The club I worked in doing off duty security would go off the rails when that came on!
You could feel the operational tempo change.

I think Lil Wayne alone brings Cash Money over the top. No Limit was all but done by 2002. They had a great run til 99, but so did Cash Money. Throw in Nicki Minaj and Drake, it's not even close when talking about success and records.
