Nussmeier needs to protect the ball. Two INTs to a below average team is shameful.

What is your solution, make him change numbers?
Being unsuccessful while wearing 18 doesn’t diminish what others have accomplished. 18 is for leadership, I think Nuss is still a leader, he’s just not playing well at the moment.

Disgracing is a far stretch and an odd choice of words.

A leader doesn’t turn the ball over. If 18 is an honor, his play is a disgrace. It’s the perfect choice of words.

Wut?

Again, 18 is for leadership. You can be a leader and not play well. I don’t know who told you different, but stop listening to them. The best coaches in the history of sports were average players. Leadership is about character and the ability to bring a team together to win. Matt Mauck wasn’t the best QB, he was really average, but he lead the shite out of that ‘03 team.

Yeah: with the exception of being unprepared, making individual mental mistakes, and falling on his face in big moments, the kid is an incredible leader and everyone should follow his glowing example.

Kid, you need to focus on your education, because you don’t know the definition of leadership, or how sports work. Just put the fries in the bag, Homie.

Good one. Sounds like youve never been on a winning team. Leaders are dependable. Full stop.

Nope, never, just a life long loser. I do have this state championship ring and a conference title trinket from many moons ago collecting dust and I’m rambling to an idiot on a message board. You’re right, I’m wrong, have a good day.

Yeah you do post here a lot and seem to like to bring up glory days. Sure seem like a pathetic loser to me.

A leader can be slow. A leader can have a weak arm. A leader can be unable to make certain throws. But a leader can’t show up to a game without being prepared for the opposing defense and make individual mistakes leading to turnovers.

But you know that. You have a state championship ring. Youre just conditioned to Nancy Reagan everyone kid the LSU PR shop props up as the face of the program.

Fun fact Matt Mauck threw 14 interceptions in 2003. One of them got OU back in the game when we were in field goal range in the 4th Quarter.

The redzone turnover was bad and needs to be fixed. The interception in the first half was not a bad decision. That was the open receiver. It was a bad throw. You’ll live with it. Interceptions are going to happen get over it.

Yall are expecting perfection and a Burrow esque performance every week. We do not have the receivers he had nor the receivers JD5 had. We have good ones and Nuss is a good QB.

Maybe the whole team should cry when they lose to an inferior opponent!

Leadership.

Number 18.
