I'm sure he was the problem, not the part where they were abandoned by the big conferences and left with no tv and NIL money.

That job is a very difficult situation, not sure many people will want it. Sucks because Corvalis is a great college town with awesome fans.

It sucks what happened but you can still keep your program strong with the right staff. Wazzu almost beat Ole Miss yesterday and feel completely different. They'll be relevant as soon as next season.

No excuse for not getting a win against Mountain West Fresno State (new coach) OR Sun Belt App State (a team that has lost to Southern Miss in 2025) to start the season.

In B12 circles, I upset the UCF/Cincy type folks by stating that the conference moved too quickly in adopting such things. They claim they brought “stability”.
