As of now, what should we do?

So we all know that this season is a wash/crash-n-burn/tank/rebuild, whatever you want to call it.

My question is, do we look at rebuilding with any FA or possible trades (us getting a player vs strictly a pick in the draft), OR do we just rely on draft picks and development of current young players?

I saw Trey Hendrickson is a possible trade candidate, but not sure if he's too expensive. I feel like he may actually work out for us with our current staff vs. when DA was here.

I would feel alright trading Kamara with us having Neal and Miller, but can Miller stay healthy ALL season?

Ok with Olave being traded, as he is too intermittently productive. If he can get us a high couple of draft picks, that would help out.

Nothing has changed. This season is about 3 things:

1) Play young players & find out who will be a part of the future
2) Figure out if we have "the guy" at QB (either of them)
3) Coaching development ... Build culture & schemes

I'd guess the team might move some of our veterans at the trade deadline for capital next draft IF there are young players who seem like they could be a part of the long term for the team underneath them

We are a few seasons away from being competitive, just build draft capital when it makes sense and draft well. Something this organization will likely frick up

Build through the draft unless there is just an unreal character/leader+ talent guy like a Vilma/demario that becomes available for reasonable price that the staff likes as one of the team generals moving forward. Cam, Taysom and Demario are likely out after this year and definitely after next so there will need to be new locker room leaders in place.

Other than that nothing has changed.

Why do you suggest a only one way strategy?

How about all the above.

Crap never mind. Bot

If you do draft for players, the focus needs to be on guys on rookie contracts. The roster needs to be torn down to the studs, but you still need to field a team. Little harm in trading off expensive contracts (Olave) for cheaper contracts for guys with NFL film

Yes. Be active in free agency. Find that 1 guy like…

Demario/Greer/Vilma/Horn/Lofton/Sharper/Keenan Lewis/Shockey etc etc

But first and foremost you build from the draft.

You position yourself to be the Redskins of next year. All that we are years away from competing talk is bullshite. It only takes 1 year to tuen it around in the NFL
