Nuss throwing the ball with any sort of zip.

Average more than 2 yards per carry

Wide receivers getting at least some separation

Nuss not throwing it to a spot with 5 opponent’s jerseys around

If we can get close to 30 points, we’ll have a chance to win every game we play.

I don’t really care how we do it, run or pass, but show me the ability to score 30-ish+ points.

Need to, not sure, but here is what I'd like to see, probably in this order.

1. Better Red Zone efficiency
2. Better third-down efficiency
3. Fewer mental errors
4. 4 yards per carry minimum on at least 30 rushes
5. Fewer dropped Passes

If the first two are true, you can almost infer that at least 2 of the other 3 are also true.

How bout a good opening drive.

You know the plays that are scripted that we shouldn't have procedure penalties

Some sort of intent and play sequencing whether it’s trying to establish something or attacking some area of the D. Have a point of emphasis that can force an adjustment instead of just random calls hoping an athlete does everything for you.

This. And no more absolute confusion by the OL. Want to see them maul people in short yardage.

We have to get teams out of a drop 8. I think that means more emphasis on the running game, but maybe that means our passing offense just executes better from a blocking/scheme/separation standpoint or maybe it just means more diversity in play calling. I don't really care how we do it, but we have to make teams respect our offense.

Defensively, we still have to figure out how to keep teams from getting Perkins in coverage and away from his strengths. I'm not saying he's bad in coverage, but we're a better team without him in coverage. We also need to address issues against tempo. Ole Miss gassed our front and LBs. I believe in Baker.

Lastly, we just have to be more disciplined. Penalties happen but we can't have dumb penalties. Discipline is hard to correct on the run. You want guys playing hard and fast, but the mental side should have been addressed long before now.

We should roll South Carolina on our home turf. Vandy is very winnable on the road, even though they're a good team. Roll SC then get out of Nashville with a win. That sets us up for a very confident approach to A&M at home before a bye week to rest, adjust, get healthy, and prepare for a trip to Tuscaloosa.
