Auburn promotes ‘queer criminology,' CRT with class targeting students from ‘privileged or conservative' backgrounds…

As an Auburn alum, I am sick of reading these headlines. Auburn students repeatedly rank as the most conservative in the country and Alabama itself ranks as one of the reddest of Deep Red states.

Why are Alabama taxpayers funding this mind-rot? Shut this class and professor down now!

I'll teach a class.. the cops are not always right.and you should not trust any of them BUT....the BS this guy is peddling about the black and queer community can be summed up pretty much in one sentence.

Don't break the law,

THEY are their own worst enemies. Take some damned responsibility and clean up your act.

Class dismissed.

And yet, look how far this rot has been allowed to go... It is worse at Alabama but they must be better at keeping it covered up... Alumni should quit sending their money to both schools until they get a handle on this crap...

This gets repeated all the time. What is this based on? Seems like a weekly occurrence that we get news about AU administration or a former beauty queen being so far left. You'd think that a student body that is so conservative wouldn't put up with that shite.

No kidding.

If this was simply a class discussing how the militarization of the police that has accompanied the disastrous and failed “War On Drugs” has infringed upon the rights of all citizens — I certainly am open to such a discussion. Yet this is not that debate.

A foundational premise of Critical Race Theory is the assertion that the free market serves as a false construct that promotes racial and sexual oppression, necessitating it’s replacement within socialist frameworks. CRT is simply a variant of Marxist claptrap that substitutes racial and gender identity with class oppression.

The point here is this foundational rot is happening at all state schools — even in the most conservative of Red States.

As long as this is not mandated and it an optional elective claa its fine. But when you force students to take the class or be subject to such DEI standards in general then its problematic. If the students know what they are getting into and still choose to attendd let it be.

Again, CRT divides citizens into either an oppressed class or an oppressor class and is thus by it’s very nature in direct violation of Alabama’s anti-DEI law governing education.

Federal judge won’t block Alabama law banning DEI initiatives in public schools…

Academia everywhere at all levels is horribly leftist. And it won’t change unless conservatives enter the field and take positions of leadership.

I have a problem with this racist trash even being allowed to exist at any public institution, optional or not.

What a shite list of links. One of them had The University of Miami as #5. A couple of them had Bama just a notch behind AU and the way a bunch of you guys talk (Bama fans included) you’d think UA was Cal Berkeley of the state of Alabama
