I agree 100%. Monte was a great d coord in the NFL absolutely, but college and NFL are apples and oranges. We have a coach in Ron Cooper who has proven he can develop secondary talent and run schemes that have been the best in the SEC. SC was the best team against the pass in the SEC last year and that is with inferior talent. JJ could have learned all he needed from him.

the story has so many holes in it its laughable. If Monte were the deciding factor you would have made the jump weeks. If playing safety were the factor you would have gone to Bama
They got your dad a job at a school a short drive away and will probably bring him on in a few years when it looks slightly less shady. Congrats on your big "steal" UT.

Coach Miles handled it in a classy way. I can't say the same for all other parties. To not give LSU the chance to recruit someone else is the biggest shaft you can give a school on recruiting day and that is exactly what Jackson, his family and Tennessee did. What goes around comes around. Thanks Coach Miles for handling these frauds with class.
