A little evaluation of what Houston has that Nuss doesn't have;
The Tigers landed a quarterback who can make plays with arm and feet. One of his strongest attributes is knowing when to run, as he does a great job of extending plays and keeping his eyes downfield.
"One of his strongest attributes is knowing when to run" Nuss totally lacks this attribute. We beat Ole Miss if Nuss had this attribute

He's a 2027 recruit and the stats are high school
Apologies to burst your bubble but that's difficult to get excited for right now.

Oh I have no idea that Houston will be the second coming for LSU. My post was simply to point out what is sorely lacking with Nuss. Because he has been this way since he has been here my opinion is this can't be coached out of him.

Hope he can bring those skills to D1 competition

As I said in the Peyton Houston thread listed in this thread, I'll get excited about that dude when he puts up similar numbers at LSU to include winning something of significance.

We also win the game if you can get more than 57 yards rushing and 2.6 yards per carry vs one of the worst run defenses in CFB. If you have to rely on your QB to be your running game and you are a one dimensional offense you have a problem.
Our OL struggled to block vs FCS SELU. With the talent difference between them and LSU, our coaches have to try really hard to lose the LOS.
Our TEs and WRs don't know how to block on runs or screens either. Nic Anderson, Trey'dez and Sharp are all below average. If I'm BK, I sit all 3 and start Kyle Parker who is a great effort blocker and put Donovan Green in who is our most complete TE. Sit Weston Davis who is probably the worst RT in the SEC. Let him compete to win back his job.

Where I think mobility could help and definitely change the outcome of some games.. I think Nuss problem is in his head. I think he overthinks mistakes, takes too long in his reads and lacks trust in his receivers.
As a 5yr senior, he should have shaken all of that out. He has growth potential but that won’t happen at LSU.

I’d say the same daggum thing. I’ll get excited about a guy when he actually does something good for LSU.
Too many highly rated guys havent panned out for me to give damn.
LSU has way more success from the portal. I probably get more excited for a portal guy.

Texas was super excited about Arch. Evangel's competition is MUCH harder than Newman's.
